How to Brew Your Perfect Cup of Tea

Brewing your perfect cup of tea is part of the joy of tea drinking, and it is easier than you think.  All you need is a kettle or pot to boil water, a teapot or mug/cup to steep the tea.  A starting  recipe is given for each type of tea, but always adjust to your taste. Welcome to your journey through the world of tea!

How to brew hot tea

White Tea

Oolong Tea

White Tea

  1. 1 tsp loose leaf tea in an infuser and place in 8-10 oz mug
  2. Fill the mug with 175 F hot water.
  3. Steep for 3-5 minutes
  4. Remove infuser, add sweetener (if desired) and enjoy.

For pure tea, save the leaves to

 use in a 2nd steeping.

Green Tea

Oolong Tea

White Tea

  1. 1 tsp loose leaf tea in an infuser and place in 8-10 oz mug
  2. Fill the mug with 175 F hot water.
  3. Steep for 3-5 minutes
  4. Remove infuser, add sweetener (if desired) and enjoy.

For pure tea, save the leaves to
